In the last post I just did... I hit the spell check button and nothing happened. I tried it once more and a message, "no misspellings found," popped up on the screen for a quick moment before disappearing.

I don't quite know how to handle that.

Just hit the 50,000 words on my book. I have not hit novel status... Their is still a ways to go, but as far as NaNoWriMo is conserned I am done.

Well, it is 11/13 and I am half way to the 50,000 words that I need to compleate NaNoWriMo. If their is one thing that I have learned from the writeing that I have done is that nothing ever goes according to plan... and around mid-mounth you begin to hate writeing. I am still having fun with the story but looking forward to the end.

Today Started NaNoWriMo. I had set a goal for my self to write 2500 words. I had compleated that goal and sumitted my word count only to find that one of my friends had me beat by just over 200 words. Not wanting to start behind on the first day I returned to write another 500 words ending at just over 3200 words.

In a few hours Crazy Cat Lady and I will be makeing our way to the airport. Were off to see Katohater and Special Lady Friend's wedding. It feels like we won't be down there for long at all. We get down there then there are the batchlerett and batchler parties then the wedding and then we are on our way back.

I am sure that we will have a great time while we are down there though. I am really looking forward to it.

Well we are back home, safe and sound, *sigh*. It is time to get back to our daily routines. Though I had a lot of fun in Vegas, I'm not quite ready to return to my 3:30 am wake up calls.
I know that once i am actually back at work i'll feel better, but 3:30 is quite early.

I was sitting at Village Inn last night with Crazy Cat Lady, who was remarkably catless at the moment. When a rather loud individual sat down in the booth behind me. He carried on for a bit about how he had to get a blow job... this bit seamed to go on and on with him cat calling any girl who had the misfortune of passing him.
He finally moved on to a new subject witch was his disgust at a business for firing his friend. Apparently his friend had a felony witch he neglected to mention... from stealing an... Ice cream truck.
Well I suppose if your going to steal something you might as well make it something that is easily noticed and doesn't move too fast.
He carried on threw the rest of the evening returning to his first comments and making lewd comments.

Good times with Grandparents

I thought the best way to make a memorial for my grandpa was to just write down a few things that i will miss. Since Grandma died a few years ago, and i didn't have a blog at that time i thought that i would just group her in too. Chet and Eleanor Budnick had no children of their own. Though they were not blood relatives to my family they always treated my parents a their own children. And my sister and my self as fairly spoiled grandchildren.

The smell of sausage in the mornings when we would wake up in the mornings at their house up north.

The house its self up north on Ford lake.

Watching Star Trek, this was always a treat for we got to stay up late on those Saturdays.

Grandpa's old WWII war stories, he had been threw some remarkable things over in Europe during the war.

How my sister and i were always greatly over compensated for the chores that we would help them with.

Staying up late to watch hercules with grandma, she thought he was such a hunk.

The stories in general about their remarkable lives.

and many more memories that would fill pages upon pages of this blog. I feel that i can't write enough about how the great times that we had with them.

Both loved each other very much, though they bickered quite a bit. They had very full lives and are people that i am proud to look up to.

Well I hate to complain so much on the blog. For some of you it is the only way that we keep in touch at all any more. However I just desire some good news. I can't think of one thing that has gone right the past few weeks.

I have been repositioned at Target to the position that I desired least.

Some one stole my credit card number and made a bunch of fraudulent charges.

Lastly, yet most depressingly, what's going on with my mom.

I know that the way my brain works I have trouble remembering the good things that happen,but, do you realize how many babies I am going to have to look at now at work... It's a lot.

Well this week has gone to crap. It has been filled with bad news, a horrible week at work, (I know that I should have a new job by now you don't have to say anything about it), and now THEY came.

It came form the womb. Or something like that, the day has been fill with horribly ugly, sickly looking babies. The kind that make you cringe, and turn around and walk the other way. I swear that their are more and more ugly babies every day and they all want to seek me out... to stare at me... with their beady eyes... and slimy hands.

I have finally finished reading the 5th Harry Potter book. It was good, a bit of a drag for a while, but good none the less. It seam to take me for ever to finish a book, it helps even less that it takes me months and Crazy Cat Lady can do it in one night. Perhalps I should spend more time with cats... That might help... I think.
Anyways long story short I am not that creative when I am reading a book. So with that completed I am hoping to return to my one page a day writing regiment. Though their is yet another concern... I have started my WoW sucription back up. That game has a way of consuming people.
Well anyways I have to leave for work, Sorry that it has been so long since the last post I will try to do better in the future.

I borrowed a few Thor books from Ikyam the other day. Once I started reading them I just couldn't put them down.

They were both relay good. I am supposed to go out of town this week for work... Though they can't seam to get the days strait, I still don't have a clue when I have to meet at the store for departure, or even what store.

It's summer witch means three things in retail. First their are a lot of good looking girls out in the store, (not that any of them are cuter than Crazy cat lady, but they don't thou cats.) second, their are a lot of ugly babies out their, (Not that I have seen the Troll Baby again, but I must be ever vigilant.) and lastly it is almost time for Christmas. Yes, plans are now in the works for that loathsome basterdised holiday. (It once use to be fun)

The Troll Baby

While at work today I was at the service desk and heard a mother bragging about her child. I turned to give an annoyed look only to find the most hideous child that I have seen to date. It looked like some kind of troll baby. I swear it looked like one of those old troll dolls if you were to try to shave it bald.

Quite disgusted I turned my attention back to loading my cart with product that was to be returned to the shelves (or reshop). Well I must have angered the Troll Baby because the minute that it and it's mom left the store thick dark clouds moved in. Within the next two minutes a thunderstorm had hit. (Frickin' Troll Baby.)

The storm continued for a while and then it was time for me to call it a day. As I approached the doors it looked as though the storm had let up a bit. However on exiting the store I was proven wrong. I became quite drenched as I moved quickly to my truck. A mile from the store the downpour became a drizzle. Two miles from the store it looked as though I never rained.

I was a work today, taking a lunch with one of my friends their and we got to talking about crime and punishment (the actual things, not the book). He was some what horrified by my stark cut and dry views on the law. A bit later we saw a preview on the TV for an upcoming news segment on mothers who are due on June 6 and what they are doing about it. Not thinking much about this we continued to talk about D&D and the current predicament that one of his charters is in.

Then it hit me, June 6, 2006..... or 6/6/06. All these mothers were worried that they were carrying devil children just because of their due date. I just couldn't stop laughing about it. It was almost enough to get me to watch the news it struck me as such a ridiculous thing to be worried about. The conversation ended with a comment like they better hold it in or euthanize the children to save the world.

When walking back to our jobs after lunch my friend turned to me and stated "What is startling is not the ideas that you have, but rather, the consistency that you have them."

We've had these little assemble your self statues in the store for a while but aside from one of the Green Goblin I wasn't too interested. This release though their was a Nightcrawler as well as a Dr. Doom. My favorite hero and villain. The down side was that Dr. Doom was a random one and you had to buy a crate with a ? on it and hope that you got it. The others that it might have been were lame like Blade and Mr. Fantastic. Long story short Crazy Cat Lady opened it for me and their he was in all his armored glory. Sweet.

So I won't get into how, it's a long but good story, but Dr. Doom finally escaped form the abyss. His new plan to take the hammer of Thor, Who has since died.

That's all well and good but the reason for this post is because while at the comic store last wensday I was talking to one of the regulars and decided that if Dr. Doom lifted the hammer of Thor, then he should have the wings on the side of his mask as well as the six dots (in pairs) down his chest. The two of us kept pushing the envelope on this idea laughing harder and harder as we went until Dave (the comic shop owner) asked what was so funny. When we told him of our Dr. Doom/Thor creation it didn't seam so funny any more.

Some days you just can't please everyone.

My Sisters Wedding

It was a great time! The wedding was nice, the pictures were unending, and the reception was a blast! I got to ware a Tux, witch always makes me feel like a million bucks. Crazy Cat Lady looked stunning in her black dress. Ikiam came in from Minnesota and gave those who rented tuxes a run for their money on looks.

What I enjoyed most though was the chance to visit with some friends of the family that I hadn't had a chance to see since my wedding. It was a lot of fun. I spent the better part of Saturday morning hanging out with Ikiam, so much time that I made Crazy Cat Lady and my self a little late for the wedding. (Well that and a taco run gone aerie.)

At the reception my Aunt got a little tipsy and was a riot. She told some people off who deserved it, danced a lot with many unwilling partners, and had a blast.

I wish that you all could have been their to share in our joy, but seeing as some of you never met my sister, and others hadn't seen her in the better part a decade it prabably was for the best.

I wish Scott and Sarah the best things in life.

I miss good muppet moves. The last good one was back in like 98', Muppets from Space. Their was a good run of the show before(the 4th incarnation if I am not mistaken) called Muppets Tonight. Their wasn't one episode that I didn't laugh out loud in. The latest movie that took them like 7 years to get out from Muppets from Space is just a remake of the Wizard of Oz, that they tried to make hip. It sucked! From the waitress that wants to be a singer Dorothy to the biker wicked witch of the west Miss Piggy.

Disney has the rights on the Muppets. They are a great group of personalities and charter quirks. I think that they can do better than one movie a decade, and a poor remake on a classic.

At work we have a little red wire shopping cart, down an isle that is filled with rather stupid boring overpriced toys that every one seams to think are the greatest things ever invented. Very few of the items down that isle ever sell, yet the isle is always a plethora of elderly and extremely young children who seam to believe that product will sell better on the floor, or shoved into the cupboards on the kitchen display, or Perhaps any where else that they can hide it. The cart though is the bane of my day.
Not a single day goes by where I don’t see that cart being drug around the store by some doltish child who deep down believes that if they can carry it around long enough and Perhaps fill it full enough with as much random crap as they can, their parent, nearly always mom, will by it for them. However every time I see that cart being toted around the store I surely find it in the reshop in the front ( all the items that people have chosen not to purchase, usually after they see the total of their bill).
Bottom line I’m sick of cleaning up after children that the parents are too lazy or dumb to take care of them selves. Need less to say that I shouldn’t type the things that I would wish on these urchin’s. The problem, though, seams to be getting worse also. Each generation seams to abide by fewer and fewer manners. I know that I blame the children, and that it is not their fault that they have poor parents. However they are the faces that poster board the problem so it is easy for me to pass blame to their weak thin boned shoulder.
The real bottom line is that no store should carry toy shopping carts. They are just looked upon by patrons, young and old alike, as a toy to play with in the store, rather than an item to be purchased.

The meaning of life. A question that has plagued both the lay person and the scholars alike. While I believe that the meaning is much more simple than they wanted to believe. For the answer to that question all that you have to do is look to the Lemon Head for advice.
Yes, the Lemon Head, candy spokes person turned "know all" guru. There is nothing that this all knowing charter dose not know. Ask him a question and he will give you an answer that is both witty and practical.
I first learned of the Lemon Head’s new calling from a friend of mine. He informed me of the Lemon Heads new business giving advice with his new partner Judy-Fruit, the sister to the Juji Fruit candy’s spokes person. Apparently they had grown tired of their roles in the candy industry and decided to branch out, giving advice. Later I heard more about them from a song that they produced entitled Lemon Head.
At first I didn’t know what to make of this strange business arrangement that they had going, so I consulted my lawyer, Mr. Zandeer. I mean really, ex-candy spokes people in the business of giving advice and producing songs, that just seams odd. He took some time and did some research on their corporation. He reported back to me that they weren’t exactly on the up and up. In fact there were some rather shady dealings with a Shedu. Further more these dealings were supposabley under the direct supervision of Scarebob.
I know, I thought that Scarebob was a myth also, but according to Mr. Zandeer, he was spotted with a rather shady drunken character at the Meijers on Alpine street some time ago, buying liqueur and lottery tickets. A coincidence, passably, but can we afford to take this risk?
Even more recently the friend who informed me of this strange advice giving duo, who’s name I shall keep to protect him, has been warned Form the Lemon Head that he know too much. He has had his life threatened and refuses to talk on the subject any further.
Who knows how Manny others have lost their lives to the shady dealings of the afore mentioned charters. I have heard rumors of Lemon Head and Judy-Fruit running cars off the road to silence those who might talk. There is no telling how many have lost their lives to the entanglement of the Shedu’s bands, no how many have gone mad just by looking into the googlyness of Scarebobs eyes.
So I implore all who read this letter to be on guard. The afore mentioned charters are a routy group of braggarts who are not to be trusted. I believe that is already too late for me though, this morning when I got in my car I found a box of Juji Fruits in my glove box. I fear that I am too deeply entangled in the bands to find freedom. I ask only for your help in spreading the word, the Lemon Head is not to be trusted.
